Mirka Microstar 6" Velcro Sanding Discs. "Where's the GRIT?"

Upon initial inspection, it can be hard to believe that these are sanding discs! Mirka packed a lot of technology into the Microstar line, which becomes apparent once you put them to use. Durable aluminum oxide grains populate the disc with precision, ensuring a rapid & consistent cut. To minimize clogging and improve gliding action, a buffering agent (stearate) fills the gaps between the grains. Use wet or dry.

Microstar Discs feature a durable polyester film backing (not paper), which minimizes deformation and swelling when used with water. If used wet, do not saturate the sanding area. Instead, lightly dampen the disc face and sanding area with spritzes of water (applied via trigger bottle).

Available in 3" and 6" diameter.
