Not so long ago, outfitting a polishing machine with super-small pads would have very likely delivered a subpar result. Thankfully, technological advances in buffing liquids & pads have made it possible create a dazzling finish utilizing our 1-1/4" (32mm) Spot Buffing Pads.

These 1-1/4" Diameter Buffing Pads are must haves for tight-area polishing tasks. When mounted to compact rotary or random orbital polishing machines, these pads can eliminate much of the difficulty and stress commonly associated with critical, tight-area work. Available in microfiber and foam varieties.

This disc features tremendous cutting capability. Typical microfiber pad designs feature an integrated foam core, to aid in countouring. In order to minimize twisting action and consequent absorption of the machine's random orbital motion, its foam core has been eliminated. This is particularly important when using random orbital machines featuring very small stroke diameters. When mounted to a rotary-action polisher, this disc will vastly outperform a comparably-sized wool pad (which is why we don't offer one!)

A lot of manufacturers take an already available foam, glue a loop backing onto one side, and then slice it into little pucks.  Done. Not so with these beauties.  They were designed to deliver optimum performance as a small pad.  Take a look at that profile!

The flared sides of the pad allow it to be used on complex shapes and tightly curved areas.  The curved edge at the face of the pad fits virtually any curved surface like a racing tire, and won't rip or tear like common square-edged pads.  These pads are very durable, and machine washable to boot.

The  maroon  pad is stiffer than the others, and is designed to  be used for heavy defect removal and surface leveling.

The  yellow  pad offers improved contourability, and is a great choice for general polishing duties.

The  black  pad is soft and pliable, and is the perfect choice for final polishing.

Meguiar's 5" Professional Soft Buff DA Foam Discs are the latest series of pad offered by the marvelous minds at Meguiar's. Three grades of foam ensure that just about any polishing task can be comfortably & efficiently accomplished. They can be used with a wide variety of buffing liquids (compounds, polishes, waxes), and are machine washable.

 Meguiar's 5" Maroon DA Foam Cutting Discs. 
Typical foam cutting pads can leave paint surfaces scoured with a layer of fine, hazy scratch marks. Not so with these beauties! Remarkably, Meguiar's 5" DA Foam Cutting Discs will rarely scour even the most delicate of paint finishes.

 Meguiar's 5" Yellow DA Foam Polishing Discs. 
It's no secret that Meguiar's Foam Polishing Pads have been an industry standard for decades. Compared to their maroon counterparts, Meguiar's 5" Yellow DA Foam Polishing Discs feature improved contourability. A great choice for general polishing tasks.
