Meguiar's Professional Hi-Tech Wash

This product is G-E-N-T-L-E.  Meguiar's developed Hi-Tech Wash back when clear coat paint systems were just entering the marketplace.

Since that time, it has become a favorite of mine.  No other car wash solution will remove contaminants so thoroughly, yet so gently.

Don't expect Hi-Tech Wash to "strip" dirt away, or leave a "protective wax coating" behind. This is a very straightforward formula whose strength lies in its mild cleansing action. Even its sudsing ability has been dialed down!

It only takes a few drops!
Just a dash of Hi-Tech Wash added to a 32 ounce bottle of water creates a super slick detailing lubricant.

Use it when wetsanding.  
The low sudsing formula keeps the surface slick and sandpaper clean.

Use it as a clay lube.  
Most car wash products turn paint cleansing clay to goop, but not Hi-Tech Wash. Use just enough diluted into water so the clay won't stick as it glides across the surface (you'll need to rinse with clean water after claying).

Use it after machine polishing.
I use a diluted Hi-Tech Wash after machine polishing to remove buffing residue from cracks & crevices prior to doing a final wash. The non-stripping formula is ultra mild on non-waxed surfaces, so there's ZERO chance of etching delicate paint.
